Downriver Community is 21 cities. I’ve been business partner in a Marketing Firm in Grosse Ile, MI since 2012 & Were also in San Francisco, CA. Through my journey within the Downriver Community, I’ve became an Allen Park Chamber Ambassador & Joined Ann Rudisill on her mission in starting a Non-Profit called Downriver for Veterans. This has led me to meet some wonderful people doing some amazing things within our community. I want to bring these Amazing stories along with other great things happening within Downriver community & surrounding areas.
In the first half of the 20th century, the urban communities in the northern and middle parts of Downriver were mainly populated by workers who were employed by the dozens of auto factories, manufacturing suppliers, ship builders, steel mills and chemical plants making up local heavy industry, including the Ford Rouge Plant Complex, Great Lakes Steel, McLouth Steel, and BASF. There is rich history in the Downriver community. My objective is to be a positive voice for my Downriver community while having some fun!
